NOTICE about the schedule for collection of paper and cardboard packaging for business entities in the area of special parts of the City of Rovinj
Dear All,
We herewith notify all business entities – users of public service on collecting municipal waste to comply with the schedule for collecting paper and cardboard packaging in special parts of the City of Rovinj-Rovigno and the old downtown, where, due to technical possibilities and constraints, end users cannot place a separate bin of adequate size.
According to the schedule for collection of paper and cardboard packaging by Komunalni Servis as a service provider, the service users – business entities with billing points in special parts of the City and the old downtown must dispose of paper and cardboard packaging every day from Monday through Sunday, from 06,00 hours until 10,30 hours in front of the billing point or next to the joint bins for paper and cardboard on a public surface.
By monitoring the situation on the ground by the City's municipal wardens and the municipal waste collection service, it has been determined that some business entities do not adhere to the stated schedule.
In case of non-compliance with prescribed provisions on disposal of waste, based on the Decision on municipal order of the City of Rovinj-Rovigno (Official Gazette of the City of Rovinj no. 8b/19, 2/20, 12/20), financial penalties apply. The fines amount to HRK 7.500,00 for a legal entity and an additional HRK 1.500,00 for the responsible person in a legal entity, i.e., HRK 3.750,00 for artisans and HRK 1.500,00 for natural persons.
Accordingly, we would like to emphasize and ask all business entities with billing points in special parts of the City and old downtown to comply with the schedule for the collection of paper and cardboard packaging. Help us keep our town clean and neat for all citizens and visitors of the City of Rovinj-Rovigno, recognized as the "Blue Pearl of Adriatic."
Also, we would like to take this opportunity to thank all other users, who comply with waste collection schedules, and who contribute to the preservation of the environment and the cleanliness of the city by treating waste responsibly.
